Who we are

InRange (tryinrange.com) is operated by iosappshub.com Weronika Góralczyk, a sole proprietorship registered in Poland (NIP 8133515569, REGON 180802464), registered address ul. Zbożowa 24, 32-087 Bibice, Poland. For any privacy question, email hello@tryinrange.com.

What we collect

Free scan, no account: if you paste a posting or URL on the homepage without signing in, we process it in memory to produce your result and do not store the posting text.

With an account: your email address (to send you sign-in codes and links and to identify your account), the postings you choose to save — their URL or text, the client name, location and (optionally) number of employees you enter, the states we determined apply, and each scan's result — so we can show you history and catch drift over time. If you set a passkey or a password, the credential material needed to verify it is stored by our sign-in provider (a password is stored only as a salted hash; a passkey stores a public key, never a biometric).

Careers-page import: if you import jobs from a company's Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby or SmartRecruiters page, we read that page's public job list from the provider. If you paste a company's own careers address, our server may also open that public page to see which system it uses. The only things we send are the company name or address you pasted; no personal data about you is sent.

Teams: on the Agency plan, the account owner can invite teammates by email; we store the invited addresses and show the owner whether each has joined.

Payments: paid plans are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and are never stored by us. We keep your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your plan and its status, so we can show your plan and apply cancellations.

iOS app: the app uses the same account and data as the website. It doesn't track you across other apps or websites and contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.

Why we process it

We use your information only to run InRange: to run your scans, keep your account and saved postings, send sign-in codes and service emails (such as drift alerts and the weekly digest you receive as a customer), take payment, and keep the service secure. We don't send marketing email, and we don't use your postings to train models or to build advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of processors to run InRange — none of them may use your data for their own purposes:

  • Supabase — database and sign-in (codes, links, passkeys, passwords)
  • Render — runs the scanning engine
  • Vercel — hosts this website
  • Resend — delivers our emails
  • Stripe — payments and subscription management
  • Cloudflare — DNS and inbound mail routing for hello@tryinrange.com

We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.

International transfers

InRange is built for businesses in the United States, and your data is stored on servers in the United States. We operate from Poland, so our team may access it from there, with the access controls and safeguards described in the Security section.

How long we keep it

Saved postings and scan history stay until you delete your account. You can do that yourself in the dashboard or the iOS app under Settings — it cancels any subscription and permanently removes your data — or ask us by email and we'll do it within 30 days. We keep nothing from anonymous free scans. Billing records may be kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember small preferences (for example, that this device has a passkey or that you dismissed a tip). No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights (GDPR)

Everyone: you can see and correct your account details in the dashboard, export or delete your saved postings, and delete your whole account yourself under Settings. You can also email hello@tryinrange.com and we'll act on a request within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for making a request.

US state privacy laws: if you live in a state with a consumer privacy law (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Texas), you can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising. We don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context advertising, and we don't use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond running the service, so there is nothing to opt out of. If you disagree with how we handled a request, reply and tell us — you can appeal by email — and you can also contact your state attorney general.

Categories we collect (in the last 12 months): identifiers (your email address); commercial information (your plan and subscription status); and the content you submit (saved postings and scan results). We collect them from you directly and use them only for the purposes above.

Signals: because we don't sell or share your information, honoring a browser's Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal doesn't change anything — nothing is sold or shared either way.

Who InRange is for: InRange is offered only to businesses outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, and not to consumers. Because we are established in Poland, where European data protection law applies to how we handle personal data, we follow it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and access to your saved postings is restricted to your account and, on the Agency plan, to the teammates its owner invites.

Children

InRange is a business tool. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 (and never from anyone under 13). If you think a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy meaningfully, we'll update the date above and, for account holders, tell you by email.
